BIO:

I’m Paul the guitarist, or at least one of them. A Geordie born and bred. I didn’t pick a guitar up until I was 20 years old but worked my bollocks off to learn.

My first band was called The FirePuppets, kind of a punk/grunge crossover. That must have been around 2014. We played a few gigs in the local area but eventually went our separate ways. In-between I played in a Punk band called Category C but never made it past practices.

So, sitting, twiddling my thumbs, I get a call from Trev asking if I fancy a jam with him and Anord so I jumped at the chance. Anyway cutting a short story shorter, within weeks I played my first gig then headed to Glasgow for a punk all-dayer. We had some awesome times in Anord until 2019 when we parted ways with our ‘singer.’

So with a fresh start (Same suspects) plus Sean Denney, DENIAL was born. Shortly after that Covid hit like a sledgehammer and put us way back but being the stubborn bastards we are, we clawed our way back. Sean had to leave on medical grounds and after a short search for a new singer, Ernst fell from the skies and we started firing again. As they say the rest is history and here we are a solid unit and the best bunch of degenerates I have ever played alongside.
